Cosme sends Alaminos under State of Calamity

Alaminos City was placed under the state of calamity after Tropical Storm Cosme damaged P238 million worth of property. The storm affected 30,145 people in 39 villages or about 40 percent of the city’s total population and destroyed 1,421 houses. City Mayor Hernani Braganza announced the creation of Task Force Bayanihan to help 3,604 families out of 6,563 households with an initial budget of some P409,000.
