WATER-BORNE DISEASES:CHOLERA

A total of 20 people died as a result of cholera outbreak in Sultan Kudarat while 147 others were affected by the water-borne disease. Most of the inflicted with the disease were children who are more susceptible and vulnerable to cholera.

The Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) went to the villages to obtain stool samples from the residents and water samples for tests.
