
A Memorandum of Agreement was signed for the Noah’s Ark Project in Bayanan, Muntinlupa City between CNDR and PTC-CSJ Foundation on January 16, 2012. With the goal of helping Barangay Bayanan achieving zero casualty in times of disasters by developing the culture of disaster preparedness among its leaders and constituents, the signing of the MOA officially signaled the partnership between CNDR and PTC-CSJ Foundation. Representing CNDR during the MOA signing was Mr. Mon Isberto, President of the Board of Trustees, and PTC-CSJ Foundation President Carla S. Limcaoco on behalf of the donor.
Signing took place at the PTC-CSJ Foundation office in Makati City witnessed by CNDR Executive Director Hilda Tabar-Cleofe and PTC-CSJ Foundation Executive Director Flory A. Tabio. Also in attendance were Mabel Q. Apostol, Program Manager for CNDR’s Community Based Disaster Risk Management, and Bayani U. Barcenas, Project Officer for Noah’s Ark Project in Bayanan, Muntinlupa City.
The Noah’s Ark Project will be implemented by CNDR in partnership with the Barangay DRRMC of Bayanan, Muntinlupa City. The project will run from January to June 2012 and will initially cover the three flood-prone and critical areas of Alabang-Bayanan Boundary, Vivo Compound, and Bayanan Baywalk.
