Emergency Response

The ER Program centers on resource mobilization and directing this effort towards the most affected, least-served disaster stricken communities and adheres to the Sphere Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Assistance.

Through the years, CNDR has established credibility along this line that member corporations who have their own emergency response programs have coordinated with, and consulted, CNDR for their emergency response efforts.

In the event of disaster, CNDR helps organize and coordinate the flow of relief goods and efforts. Its emergency response activities include:

  • Disaster Monitoring
  • Volunteer Mobilization during emergencies
  • Formation of Disaster Volunteer Teams among member organizations
  • Publication of Emergency Response Guidelines
  • Systematization of Emergency Response (disaster response monitoring, report formulation and dissemination)
  • Conduct of Donors’ Forum and Emergency Situation Briefing
  • Provision of Food and Non-Food Relief Items
