Bad Food downs 200

After eating food distributed during a town fiesta, more than 200 persons fell sick in Barangay Carmen, Hernani, Eastern Samar.

According to Hernani Health Officer Benifeda Bacunawa, some 200 residents of Barangay Carmen complained of common manifestations of food poisoning such as dizziness, abdominal pain, loose bowel movement, and vomiting and body weakness after eating the served food.

As of press time, Bacunawa said that they have yet to determine the cause of the ailments.
